About Department
Our department was established in the year 1986 under the affiliation of Madurai Kamaraj University. It was the first Computer Science department among the colleges of Kanyakumari district with an allocation of 24 seats and its' first HOD was Mr.S Karthikeyan. In the year 1992, our college was affiliated with Manonmanium Sundaranar University. In the year 2005 under the headship of Mr. P. Basker, the allocated seats were updated to 36 seats and again in the year 2008 it was updated to 48 seats. It is a versatile department with a well-equipped computer lab and well-trained faculty members. The students actively participate and present papers in conferences and seminars. The faculty too encourages students to participate in workshops and seminars for gathering knowledge. Our department aims to equip the students with all aspects of modern advancements in the field of Computer Science.
